Susan May Klein

Susan May Klein, age 68 of Stillwater, MN died on Sunday, November 1, 2015 after a courageous 23 year battle with cancer. She was born the daughter of Jack and Lois (Hurd) Bromaghin on January 29, 1947 in Bagley, MN. She graduated from Bemidji State University with a degree in English and met Richard Klein. They got married on June 13, 1970. Sue enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and long weekend trips with her husband. She worked at the Stillwater School District from 1971 to 2002 as a learning disability teacher and librarian. She attended years of Pony football games courtesy of Coach Klein. Her strength, courage and will power gave us more memories than we could have dreamt of. She will be missed. Susan was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Richard “Dick”; only child Chad (Brianna) Klein of Lakeville, MN; granddaughter Paige Susan; sisters, DeeAnn (Bob) Hoover of Sun West City, AZ, Laurie (Byron) Hogberg of Olivia, MN; brother Peter (Mary) Bromaghin of Castle Rock, CO; nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave N., Stillwater, MN on Thursday, November 5th, 2015 from 4-7 PM with a memorial service at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Gathering (hospice care in Oak Park Heights), the American Cancer Society or the Paralyzed Veterans of America are preferred.
