Teresa "Susie" Mary (Salmore) Maslowski

Teresa "Susie" Mary Maslowski, age 80 of Stillwater passed away peacefully October 29, 2023 after years of dealing with COPD. Susie was born on July 25th, 1943, in Stillwater Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Lawrence "Larry" Maslowski, Sr.; her parents Francis and Alice (Pelvit) Salmore; siblings JoAnn, (Scotty) Montbriand, and Philip (Cindy) Salmore; Half siblings Raymond (Dorothy) Schell, Eugene (Pat) Schell, Edward "Jug" (Shirley) Schell, Thomas "Butch" (Janet) Schell, Beverly Richmond, and Katie (Harold) Iserman.

Susie graduated from Stillwater High School and in her younger years worked as a car hop at Red & White Drive Inn and broke horses for Rivard's. She attended college in Chicago, obtaining an interior design degree, before working for Ethan Alan. Susie also worked for Johnson and Johnson Tobacco and relocated to Colorado while working for State Farm Insurance. Eventually, she retired from School District 834 as a cafeteria cook. Susie was a prominent member of the Stillwater VFW post 323 Woman's Auxiliary and donated her time and support to the VFW and other local veteran groups.

Susie will remain in the hearts of her daughter Tracy Jo Maslowski-Adkins (Bill Lindau); step children Larry Maslowski II (Dawn), Linda Erichsen-Meister, Lauri Johnson (Lonney), Leaha(Ken) Merchak , Lanae Maslowski; and Lonna (Todd) Wendorf. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Pat and Jan Finnegan; brother-in-law David Belideau; and many other family and friends.

Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday November 9, 2023, at the Church of St. Michael, 611 Third St. S. Stillwater, MN with visitation two hours prior to the service. A Christian burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, Bayport, MN after Mass. The luncheon will be held following the burial at the church, the day will conclude at the Stillwater Bowl enjoying Susie's favorite past times.
