Therese Mary Schurb

Therese M. Schurb, age 85 of Stillwater, with family by her side, died peacefully, Thursday, July 10, 2014 at her home. She was preceded in death by beloved husband Frank, parents John and Frances Hamerski; siblings; Daniel, Philip, Hillary, Hubert and John. She is survived by daughters; MaryFrances Schurb of St. Paul, Kathryn (Todd) Bymark of Brainerd and Susan (Peter) Boosalis of Stillwater; grandchildren; Grace, Jeff, John Peter, Sophia and Ellie. Therese and Frank were long time parishioners of St. Pascal Baylon Church. They retired to Stillwater, where they enjoyed time with family and were involved in the tri-catholic community. Therese took great delight in her grandchildren – they were the light of her life and helped care for her after Frank’s passing. The family extends special thanks and gratitude to Amber, Michele, Claire and Jane – who cared for Therese with kindness, love and dignity. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Church of St. Michael, 611 South 3rd Street, Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Church of St. Michael.
