Thomas W Johnson

Thomas W. Johnson, age 69, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on July 6, 2016. He was born in St. Paul on April 20, 1947 the son of Winston and Eleanor (Greeder) Johnson. Tom worked at Unisys as a software developer for 38 years. He was a member of St. Anne’s Church in Somerset. Tom was an avid racquetball player and also enjoyed playing golf, and fishing. He enjoyed his 18 years of fellowship with his AA friends. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; children, Chad (Kelli) Johnson, Christopher (Ann) Johnson and Stephanie (Chris) Hoff; grandchildren, Megan, Logan, Emily, and Madelyn Johnson, Grant and Ava Hoff; and brother, Jeff Johnson, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church 141 Church Hill Road, Somerset, WI 54025. Visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave N., Stillwater, MN 55082 and also for one hour prior to the Mass at Church. Burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Bayport, MN.
