William Edward Klein

William E. "Bill" Klein of Stillwater died at home on August 18, 2022. He was 81 years old. He was preceded in death by parents, Harold and Winifred of Des Moines; brother, Bob of Akron, Ohio; and infant son, Michael. Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda; daughters, Karen (Greg) of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Mary of Stillwater and Alison (Brian) of Portland, Oregon; sons, Jon (Jenny) of Howard Lake, Billy (Michelle) of Edina, Andrew of St. Paul; seven grandchildren; sisters, JoAnn and Katie of Des Moines.
Bill was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, served in the Air Force and spent a career in communications, including 35 years at AT&T. After retirement he was able to share his love of the outdoors through many published stories.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Church of St. Michael, 611 S Third Street, Stillwater, MN, 55082 with visitation one hour prior. Burial at St. Michael's Cemetery.
