William A. Routier

"Bill", Devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Age 86, of Stillwater. Died on Feb. 28, 2009. Preceded in death by parents Aaron and Matilda; sisters: Joyce, Mary, Ann and Janet. Survived by wife of 64 years, Evelyn; daughters Susan (Ben) Shamla, Carol (Dave) Jung, Barbara (Daniel Estrem), Ann (Wayne Branum); grandchildren Sarah and Nicholas Shamla, Ryan Jung; extended Branum family Seth, Noah (Judy), Lucas (Tzu Fen Li), Calvin, Keira and Mya. Born in Fairmont, MN on June 5, 1922; attended High School in Blue Earth, MN, majored in Business at the University of Southern California and was employed in both the public and private sector. He was at home in nature, where he could be found pursuing any number of interests while enjoying their home along the St. Croix River. An honorable man, he was blessed with a long, productive life, loving family, and ever increasing circle of friends. His example left us a legacy of everlasting love, devotion and respect for each other and our environment. Memorial Mass 11 AM Monday, March 9 at St. Maryâ
