William J. Mcdonough

William J. McDonough, age 76, of Oakdale, formerly of Arlington, MA; Stillwater, MN; and Austin, TX, died peacefully on April 7, 2008, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital, where he had previously celebrated the birth of five of his eleven children. He was well cared for by his physicians, Drs. Stratte, Williams, Mahoney, Quaday and colleagues. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary (Wallace); brother, Paul; son, Stephen; and granddaughter Allyson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Kathleen (O'Mahony), children Kevin, William C. (Brent Derowitsch) Kathleen (Melanie Ruda), Mary (Paul) Sutter, Gerald (Paula), Patrick (Karen Steele), Sean (Amy), Denis (Kari), Anna (Jack Furlong), and James (Angela). Bill is also survived by his pride and joy - his 13 grandchildren: Colman, Jeremy and Hannah Sutter, and James, Sean, Christopher, Adeline, Liam, Edward, Grace, William, Joseph and Clare McDonough. He is also survived by his loving sisters Mary E. "Liz" McDonough; Patricia M. McDonough, C.S.J., and Margaret M. McDonough. Bill was an active member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and previously of St. Mikeâ
