Joan (Joanie) Schmitt, age 84, passed away on January 24, 2020. Preceded in death by mother, Jessie; father, William Sr.; seven brothers and sisters. Survived by loving partner, Darlene Albrecht. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 423 S. 5th St., Stillwater, MN 55082 with visitation one hour prior to the Mass. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights.
